Chatsworth Hospice was established in 1991, and it is based in Silverglen, Chatsworth. The main goal of the organisation is to provide free palliative care to cancer patients. The Hollywood Foundation was proud to prioritise the needs of this organisation and extend a helping hand to improve the lives of cancer patients that require much-needed support.
Chatsworth Hospice was also formed to cater to the growing number of cancer patients in the region, who require specialised care to survive. The organisation has the goal to ensure that it continues to provide quality palliative care to patients, free of charge. On 24 March 2022, the Team from Chatsworth paid a special visit to the organisation, to contribute an array of items, such as a wireless handheld microphone, a megaphone, a cupboard and paper.
S Enoch, the Manager of Chatsworth Hospice, was overwhelmed after receiving the items, and said that it will help to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients who rely on the organisation for care and assistance.
