Manini Primary School is based in Manini Block M and it has been educating and empowering learners since 1969. The school has many learners, who each come with their own struggles and hardships due to their poverty-stricken households. The school was happy and felt recognised after being chosen to receive assistance from the Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign for 2022.
The school seeks to develop the skills of their learners through educational lessons and cultural activities. Many learners have stated that their parents are poor and find it challenging to purchase school items. The Team from the Thohoyandou branch was happy to hand over boxes of brand-new school shoes for learners to use on 25 January 2022.
F.M Rasilingwane, the Principal of Manini Primary School, thanked the Team for their contribution and said that the school shoes will help to enhance the learner’s positive attitude towards schooling.
