The Pad Run joined forces with the Hollywood Foundation and Flutter by LKG to transform the lives of many women in our beautiful country. As a registered non-profit organisation, the Pad Run aims to equip the youth and young individuals with knowledge regarding menstruation and related topics and it also offers sanitary packs or toiletries to collectively #EndPeriodPoverty.
Members from all three organisations met at Youth Employment Initiative South Africa (YEISA) on Friday, 3 December 2021, in Durban to hand over 1 250 sanitary pads to the organisation. The handover was also supported by popular music artists, DJ Naves and DJ Sphectacula, who represented the Pad Run. YEISA has the needs of South African youth in mind and it aims to shape policies for employment opportunities for the youth that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and wellbeing.
