Hollywood Foundation launches in the KZN communities

The team of Purple Hearts from KwaZulu-Natal kicked-off the launch of the Hollywood Foundation at Bhambayi, Inanda, on 6 October 2021. The Hollywood Foundation was formed at a significant time in our country and the aim of this non-profit company is to expand on previous development and community work done by the leading betting operator Hollywoodbets. It looks to run bigger programmes that assist local communities and help even more people thus achieving sustainable impact.

The day was filled with smiles, excitement and hope in the form of raindrops as people, including community leaders from Bhambayi, the media, other local foundations, the Team from Hollywoodbets and from the Hollywood Foundation, gathered to watch history being made. Guests also included, Siyanda Ntenga, the Founder of the Ntenga Foundation, and Blessing Nyuswa-Nyoni, the Founder of GOLDCO, a community organisation that aims to uplift members within Bhambayi. The launch took place at the heart of Bhambayi and the Hollywood Foundation proudly donated an amount of R110 000 to GOLDCO, as they continue with their good efforts of empowering those in need in the settlement. Renovations to a hall in the area were conducted, as well as fencing and gate installation, the addition of ablution facilities and the planting of a vegetable garden.
