Hollywoodbets Paarl chose to support Roses Netball Club as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

Roses Netball Club
Roses Netball Club came together in 2017 to promote the sport of netball and encourage more of the community to participate in an active lifestyle. The club currently consists of 24 players who practise three times a week. Roses struggles to find adequate netball facilities for practice as well as struggling financially because of the cost of transport to attend the various matches in their league.
The Hollywoodbets Paarl Team saw how passionate the players were about the sport, so they made a donation of netball kits for one team.
Chairperson of the club, Geraldine Williams, expressed her appreciation to the company.
“Thank you very much to Hollywoodbets. This donation will help to improve the ladies’ confidence and improve their playing skills. It will also take some weight off our backs as we won’t have to pay for new match kits and we will look good when we are all playing in the same uniform,” she said.
