Esibayeni FC was thrilled to welcome the Team from Kinross on 10 February 2022, who brought brand-new soccer kits with them for the players to use. This formed part of a major campaign that is currently underway by the Hollywood Foundation, to assist and support developing sport teams in the country.
Esibayeni FC was formed in 2014 and it is comprised of two teams and 18 players. Players at the club are hardworking and practice three times a week at Sasol Stadium. The club was formed to keep young men occupied, and to prevent them from living on the streets. The club’s proudest moments were winning a tournament and receiving the good news that it be will be receiving brand-new soccer kits from the Hollywood Foundation. Khehla Dube, the Coach for Esibayeni FC, explained that the club had requested for donations from local shops. He thanked the Team for the kind visit, and added that this contribution will help to improve the talent of the players.
