Hollywoodbets Mandarin Inn chose Fairway Stars FC as their club of choice for Hollywoodbets’ Soccer Sponsorship Programme. The Hollywoodbets team talks about the club.
This local club was established in 1986 in the impoverished area of Kwazakhele in Port Elizabeth.
They currently offer soccer training to three divisions, and a netball team also trains on site. In the past Fairway Stars have won the ZAFA second division championships and they have also qualified to play in the premier division.
The soccer team was so happy to receive their brand new kit, and it was good to see children in the community do something to work towards a better future. The Hollywoodbets team hopes that the new kit will help the players to be even more committed to their training and that they will be proud to play soccer and be a part of a team. Let’s keep flying the purple flag high!
