This football club was started to create a safe space for the youth of Daveyton, keeping them active and occupied after school and therefore keeping them out of trouble.
The club also seeks to teach the teenagers in the community professional soccer skills.
First started in 2009 they have been practicing five times a week to ensure that they play well against their opponents.
The club has five teams with players that range from 11 to 17 years and a senior team.
One of the Super Strikaz players was selected to be a part of the Orlando Pirates Junior team, while another highlight for the team was when the under 13 and under 15 division won the League in 2018.
The Hollywoodbets Brakpan Team liaised with the club and recognized that many of the club’s supporters are unemployed, which hampered their ability to buy equipment.
Hollywoodbets decided to support their good work by donating a full soccer kit to the team.
The chairman of the club, Zweli Ntshele thanked the Team for the donation.
“Now we have a full soccer kit because before we used to use our own kit with different colours. Our players’ confidence has grown and this is great because we are the current league champions for 2018.”
