Sunrise RFC and the Hollywoodbets Sponsorship

Sunrise RFC

Sunrise RFC was established in 1972 in the rural outskirts of Berlin in a village called Emabaleni in the Eastern Cape, under the Border Rugby Union banner. The club was developed to encourage people to play rugby and contribute to the development of rugby players. The club still competes under the Border Rugby Union Rural League, which consists of 14 teams. The beneficiaries at the club are the community club players and future talented players who may become Springbok players.

Hollywoodbets made their first contribution to the club on 2 October 2021. The Purple Team gladly donated an array of items that will help the players to prepare for upcoming matches and tournaments. These included sublimated rugby jerseys, rugby shorts, rugby socks, tackle bags, contact shields and rugby balls.

“This donation will assist the players to move away from drug abuse. It will also keep this club alive since it was formed 50 years ago. We thank Hollywoodbets for supporting us at a right time for our 50-year anniversary.”
