Hollywoodbets is proud to lend a helping hand for Blind Cricket SA’s 2022 T20 World Cup trip to India, through a cricket sponsorship that includes travel arrangements and sports kits for the players.
The 3rd T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind will take place between 05-17 December, in India. The participating nations for World Cup this year are Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the host, India. Around 150 players will be participating from all the countries and the tournament, which has a total of 24 matches, will take place in nine cities in India. The tournament will be held to commemorate World Disability Day celebrations, around the world.
The Purple Team has already established a fantastic relationship with the Blind Cricket SA team. In the month of October, the Hollywood Foundation embarked on three handovers in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Western Cape, alongside the Blind Cricket SA team. Mason Lincoln School, Johannesburg Society for the Blind and Athlone School for the Blind, were organisations that were very near and dear to the players. It was an honour for the Hollywood Foundation to join forces with the team to contribute essential items and equipment to support individuals at these organisations.
