The Hollywood Foundation’s unwavering commitment to sports development in South Africa was once again showcased through its recent contribution through their CSI initiative. On 4 June 2024, the Foundation, in collaboration with the Purple Team from the Yusuf Dadoo branch, delivered a generous contribution of soccer kits to the Dragon Multi-Sport Academy. This initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader strategy to foster young talent and support community-driven sports programmes across the country.
The CSI contribution was carefully planned and executed by the Yusuf Dadoo Team, who identified the Dragon Multi-Sport Academy as a deserving recipient. Recognising the Academy’s vital role in nurturing young athletes, the Hollywood Foundation aimed to enhance their resources and provide much-needed support. The handover event was a moment of celebration for the Academy, with the soccer kits symbolising a significant boost to their ongoing efforts.
S.M. Shezi, a representative of the Dragon Multi-Sport Academy, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the CSI contribution. “We are incredibly thankful to the Hollywood Foundation for their generous support. This contribution has provided us with essential equipment and inspired our young players to strive for excellence. The soccer kits will significantly enhance our training sessions, ensure we look presentable and help us continue our mission of developing talented athletes,” Shezi stated.
The CSI initiative underscores the Hollywood Foundation’s dedication to making a tangible difference in the community. By supporting organisations like the Dragon Multi-Sport Academy, the Foundation ensures that young sports enthusiasts have the tools they need to succeed. The positive impact of such contributions resonates beyond the immediate recipients, fostering a culture of growth and opportunity within the sporting community.
Through its continued CSI efforts, the Hollywood Foundation remains a pivotal force in advancing sports development and nurturing the next generation of talent in South Africa.
