Hollywoodbets made a substantial donation of essential items to the Association of the Physically Challenged through our HopeIsPower campaign.
This organisation is based in the Sherwood and Bonela area in Durban. They care for 15 500 beneficiaries who come from poverty-stricken areas in-and-around their community.
Their main vision is to work towards the empowerment and integration of the physically challenged in a society for all. As a result of the recent unrest in KwaZulu-Natal, the organisation received a flood of urgent requests from people looking for assistance.
This is where our Hollywoodbets My Community Programme stepped in and offered support through the #HopeIsPower campaign. A donation consisting of essential items such as milk, bread, vegetables, eggs, rice, flour, oil, cleaning supplies and more was handed over the organisation.
