Recently, the Hollywood Foundation’s CSI initiative reached out to Chere Botha School, guided by the compassionate nomination of the Purple Team from their Bellville branch. The Foundation’s commitment to uplifting communities shone brightly as they visited the school, carrying with them a gift that would ignite joy and camaraderie among the students.
On the 30th of May 2024, amidst cheers and smiles that painted the schoolyard, the Hollywood Foundation and the Bellville branch Team proudly presented the Chere Botha School soccer team with a brand-new kit and state-of-the-art equipment. This gesture was a testament to the Foundation’s belief in the power of sports to inspire and unite young hearts.
Jeanine Robinson, the Deputy Principal of Chere Botha School, encapsulated the collective sentiment of gratitude, saying, “This generous contribution from the Hollywood Foundation will empower our soccer team and uplift the spirits of our learners. For the students aged between 13 and 18 who make up the budding soccer Team, the new kit represented more than just uniforms and gear.
