The Hollywood Foundation was thrilled to impact the lives of learners at Langabuya Primary in Paarl, using the Back to School campaign. The school was overwhelmed and happy to receive support for the new schooling year in 2022. The school was established in 1964 and apart from educational services, the school also offers an environmental awareness programme to learners.
Due to COVID-19, many parents were left unemployed and unable to support their children in their schoolwork. The iBranch Team from the Western Cape reached out to make a difference on 1 December 2021 and handed over much-needed school supplies to the learners at the school.
Nothemba Elizabeth, the Acting Deputy Principal for Langabuya Primary, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for their kind assistance, which may also help to boost the learner’s marks.
