The Hollywood Foundation Team from Germiston, Gauteng, was excited to start the year by assisting Institute Status Acres school with the Back to School campaign. The start of the schooling year brings many challenges to parents and teachers. Given the after-effects of the festive season, the Back to School campaign aims to offer a lifeline to schools and pupils who need a helping hand.
Institute Status Acres was excited to hear that it will be receiving assistance from the campaign. The school was nominated by the Team from the Germiston Branch. Previously, the school and its learners were battling with stationery procurement. Apart from educational services, learners at the school also enjoy sporting activities. On 12 January 2021, the Team was proud to visit the school and meet the teachers and pupils to hand over an array of stationery items.
Linda Sikonyawa, a representative from the school, said that the stationery items will allow the teachers and learners to feel confident, and it will also enhance the learner’s performance.
