A new day means a new school to support. The Hollywood Foundation has been making steady progress with its Back to School campaign, which has assisted many schools across the country. Mthombeni Primary School was thrilled to receive the news that the campaign will be touching the lives of its learners this year. The school was established in 1988 and has been making a difference by educating learners and equipping them for the future.
On 1 February 2022, the Team from Middelburg was proud to visit the school to hand over school uniforms and stationery to assist vulnerable learners at the school. School uniforms are regarded as staple requirements for children, but they also come at a cost for parents. The Team aimed to ease this pressure off parents, by ensuring that their children come to school in the new year with new school clothes, and stationery to use during lessons.
Sipho Maseko, an Administrator for Mthombeni Primary School, thanked the Team for their kind contribution, and added that it will help to boost the learner’s confidence this year.
