Based in Durban, Ubuntu Community Development is a non-profit organisation that helps to provide food and clothes to disadvantaged people in the KwaZulu-Natal region.
The Hollywood Foundation’s HandsOfHope campaign was introduced to recognise organisations in need of assistance, following the recent floods and heavy rain in the province. The Team was proud to hand over food and blankets to the organisation on 27 April 2022 The organisation was humbled to receive the contribution. Shantal Chetty, the Chairman of the Ubuntu Community Development, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for the support, and said, “This contribution will provide much needed relief for our members and keep them warm.”
