Based in Durban, Refadmin Community Empowerment is a non-profit organisation that provides help and support to the community members in the form of food and clothing material.
The Hollywood Foundation’s HandsOfHope campaign recognised the organisation as one that required assistance, following the recent floods and heavy rain in the province and reached out to them with aid to assist in the challenging time. The Team was proud to handover food and blankets to the community centre on 27 April 2022.
The organisation was grateful to receive the contribution. Michael Mzize, the Secretary from Refadmin Community Empowerment, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for the contribution, and added, “It will have a positive impact, the members will have food and the blankets will keep them warm during winter.”
