The recent devastation caused by the heavy rains and floods in KwaZulu-Natal has left most communities and organisations in the province in dire straits.
As part of the #HandsOfHope campaign, the Hollywood Foundation extended a helping hand to those in need. One of the many organisations that received assistance was Ekukhanyeni AIDS Centre. The non-profit organisation works closely with the community and assists those in need. The Team from KwaZulu-Natal brought some hope on 25 April 2022, when they visited the organisation to contribute food hampers and blankets to the residents.
The Parish Priest at the Ekukhanyeni AIDS Centre, Father Ndlovu, was humbled after hearing that the organisation will be given much-needed assistance, and said that the contribution will help people stay warm and have a meal.
