The Hollywood Foundation continues to be a beacon of hope which shines brightly through its commitment to community development through their CSI initiatives. Their belief in caring for and uplifting communities in South Africa has found a powerful ally in Sivusithemba Community Home Based Care, an organisation dedicated to caring for disadvantaged, orphans, and vulnerable children since its establishment in 2006.
The Hollywood Foundation, with a mission to create impactful and sustainable CSI programmes, has formed invaluable partnerships with community-based organisations like Sivusithemba. The Brakpan branch team, inspired by the selfless work of Sivusithemba, nominated the organisation to receive assistance, recognising the need to support their day-to-day operations.
On 23 November 2023, the Hollywood Foundation team, accompanied by the passionate Brakpan team, embarked on a journey to Tsekane. Their destination held the promise of making a significant difference in the lives of the community members cared for by Sivusithemba. The Hollywood Foundation was determined to infuse new energy into the organisation’s noble cause through a heartfelt contribution.
The carefully curated contribution from the Hollywood Foundation encompassed essential office and marketing equipment, including stationary, a laptop, printer, and speaker. As these items were handed over to Dorothy Zikhali, the Manager at Sivusithemba Community Home Based Care, a wave of gratitude and excitement filled the air. Dorothy expressed her heartfelt appreciation, “Thank you to the Hollywood Foundation for their generous contribution. It will help alleviate the pressure off our admin team and assist us with our day-to-day operations.”
