Hollywoodbets Mokopane chose Tharollo Drop-In Centre as their organisation of choice for the Hollywoodbets’ My Community Programme for 2020/2021.

This organisation first opened in 2009 and now has 126 beneficiaries under their care. They have a feeding scheme and provide support to the people in their community in various ways, reaching out to families that could benefit from their services.
They offer educational support to the children in the community by assisting pupils with their school work, and also providing necessities like school uniforms where and when required. The staff also conduct regular home visits and distribute food parcels to those in need. During their visits they also use the opportunity to engage with the children as their main objective is to ensure that children are well looked after and have access to basic needs that are conducive to their optimal development.
The Hollywoodbets Mokopane Team visited the centre to assist in putting together a greenhouse and also delivered a water tank.
Thabang Nkuna, thanked the Team for the support.

“The donation has enabled us as an organisation to plant vegetables and we are able to sell them to the community and give back to the families that are in need,” he said.
