Hollywoodbets Bluff chose to support TAFTA – John Dunn House as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.
TAFTA- John Dunn House
This home for the elderly first opened their doors in 1958. They also provide a frail care unit to those in need. They currently have 78 residents who are all dependent on pensions from the government. The home relies solely on support from donors in KZN to keep their doors open.
The Hollywoodbets Bluff Team decided to support this amazing home by making a donation that consisted of a portable aircon, four pots, a kettle and four trays.
Charnete Fouche, Senior Operations Manager at John Dunn House, was delighted with their contribution.
“We will benefit from this donation as we just don’t have the capital to purchase these types of items. Due to our budget we are only able to replace something once it is broken and cannot be used anymore,” she said.
