Hollywoodbets Pretoria chose to support Soshanguve Youth Organisation as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme 2020/21.

Established in 2015 to help keep children off the streets. The organisation has since initiated a programme called Funa-U-Lwazi which helps kids from foundation phase (Grade R) up to Grade 5 with spelling, grammar and other subjects.Overall they are currently assisting 21 children through this programme.
Hollywoodbets Pretoria decided to support the organisation with a donation of R19 440 which helped provide them with fencing, a television, a printer, keyboards, games, a gas stove and stationery.
Representative of the organisation, Alfred Mokoena, thanked Hollywoodbets for the support.
“The donations we receive make the organisation grow and not lose hope so it can continue what it does for the community. As the name Funa-U-Lwazi makes clear you must ‘seek knowledge’ and you will prosper in life,” he said.
