Hollywoodbets Ixopo chose to support Lower Mfundweni Pre-School Crèche as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

Since 1994 this school and crèche have invested time into educating young people.
However, the staff focus on more than just the curriculum. They aim to teach the kids to stay away from friends who have a bad influence, as well as dangerous elements like drugs.
They also educate the youth on how to prevent veld fires.
The Hollywoodbets Ixopo Team first heard about the crèche’s good work through their valued customers and decided to sponsor them after visiting the premises.
The Team delivered a fridge, 20 pairs of school shoes and 24 blankets to the staff.
School supervisor Boniswa Zulu is thankful for the assistance.
“Thanks to the donation our kids will be able to keep warm when it’s cold! They used to come to school barefoot but now they will have shoes. We will now also be able to buy products we could never store before, because it needed to be stored in a fridge,” she said.
