The Hollywood Foundation is always looking for ways to make a positive impact in the communities it serves. This December, the Purple Team travelled to the Eastern Cape to bring relief to the Kei Road Springbok Rugby Football Club through a rugby sponsorship.
The assistance came after the Hollywood Foundation received a request for support. The Kei Road Springbok Rugby Football Club was established in 2011 with the aim to help nurture aspiring rugby players. The club also grooms these young players to give them opportunities so that one day, they will be able to play the sport professionally.
As part of various rugby sponsorships this year, the Hollywood Foundation contributed equipment, including rugby jerseys, shorts, socks, tracksuits, tackle bags, contact shields, kicking tees, first aid kits, kitbags, ball pumps and whistles on 01 December 2022.
Sakhumuzi Nkoye, the Secretary at Kei Road Springbok Rugby Football Club, said that he was grateful for the assistance given to them as the equipment will help the players to take their game to the next level.
