On Friday, 26 March 2021, Hollywoodbets, visited stalwart business, TNP Fast Foods, on the bustling Vilakazi street in Soweto to officially handover a brand-new container and kitchen equipment to store owner, Mpho Modisane.
“My two daughters motivated me to open my store, which is how I came up with the name TNP Fast Food as their names are Tumi and Palesa. There are a lot of restaurants in Vilakazi, so I chose to sell Kotas as it is something different that tourists could try.”
“Hollywoodbets approached me last November. I was overwhelmed when their team told me that they could offer me a new container, equipment, chairs and umbrellas because it was so unexpected. My business will be booming now, thanks to Hollywoodbets. My dreams have come true. I hope to see them continuing to help other small enterprises in the future,” said Modisane.
Hollywoodbets’ Gauteng iBranch Regional Manager, Charles Zama, explained what an important handover this was. “We first heard about TNP Fast Foods through one of our team members who lives nearby. It is the only shop selling Kotas in the area, which makes it a point of interest for tourists. This is an important project for us, as we always aim to give back to the communities within which we operate,” he said.
