Isibindi Vosman able to feed 16 families thanks to Hollywoodbets and Lighthouse Foundation’s Brighter Future Project

This organisation was first started in 2016 and their goal is to provide holistic support to orphans and vulnerable children as well as their families. The care centre based in Emalahleni offers counselling programmes, teaches life skills for a sustainable future and assist children and families with fulfilling their basic needs. Many people within the area were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent national lockdown South Africa has been experiencing so the organisation was in urgent need of assistance. National bookmaker Hollywoodbets stepped up, donating R12 500 to Isibindi Vosman which was used to purchase food, cleaning products and toiletries for those in need.
This donation is a result of the company’s recent launch of their “Brighter Future” project which has been created specifically to provide support to organisations who are helping those less fortunate during this time. The project is a collaboration between the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme and Nomzamo Mbatha’s Lighthouse Foundation and will result in R1 million being handed over to 60 NPOs and NGOs across all nine provinces in South Africa.
Hollywoodbets has a long-standing relationship with Isibindi Vosman and it is the fourth time they’ve chosen to donate to this worthy cause.
“When we heard that Isibindi Vosman was looking for assistance during these hard times we knew that it was our responsibility as one of their benefactors to get involved and do something about it. We truly believe in the great work they do helping these children, and because we believe that children are the future, we as Hollywoodbets have always been happy to assist them during their time of need,” explained Ntandokazi Khumalo, Hollywoodbets CSI Champion for Mpumalanga.

“Thank you Hollywoodbets for everything that you have been doing for us. It’s so good to know that during a time like this 16 families will now have meals for an entire month! Your support means a lot,” said Florence Mashiloane, Project Manager at Isibindi Vosman.
