Sinqobile Creche and Pre-School is located in a township in Avoca Hills, Durban, and is run by Ms. Sihle Mkhize. Sihle goes above and beyond to care for 54 little ones and she is assisted by her stable staff every day. The children are aged from 6 months to 6 years and consider the Creche to be a safe haven.
During the Christmas Party last year, which was hosted by Hollywoodbets in partnership with Expro and Rotary, the Team took a liking to the little ones. In the spirit of giving back and lending a helping hand, the Team sought to make a difference to improve the learning conditions at the Creche. The Hollywood Foundation chose to generously donate two mobile classes with electric fittings, plumbing and toilet facilities for the children.
The Team from the Hollywood Foundation are aware that we live in uncertain times, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the pillars of the newly launched Hollywood Foundation is Education and Training. The children will now be taught in top notch containers that have an abundance of space.
