Hollywoodbets Middelburg chose to support Greater Middleburg Activity Centre for the Disabled as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

Started in 1990, the charity aims to teach physically challenged children cooking and gardening skills as a fun activity.
They assist about 600 children on a daily basis.
The Hollywoodbets Middleburg Team decided to donate to the organisation because it is currently the only charity that caters for children with disabilities in the area.
The Team donated an electric stove, toiletries, garden tools, cooking pots and garden seeds.
Andrew Kgomo the organisation’s manager was grateful to the Team for their generous donation.
“This donation will help the kids with gardening which means that one day they can have food from their own garden. The toiletries will assist the kids who cannot afford them,” he said.
