The youth are the generation of tomorrow and investing in them now will bear fruit for generations to come. The Hollywood Foundation recognises that, and with their Back to School campaign, they aim to give kids across the country every opportunity to succeed.
St Theresa’s Home, based in Sydenham, KwaZulu-Natal, was the latest recipient in the Hollywood Foundation’s ground-breaking campaign and were deeply appreciative to receive assistance, as education will ensure a brighter future for the orphaned and vulnerable children in their care. Established in 1972, the school provides holistic residential care, medical care, counselling, sports and recreation, spiritual and socialisation guidance for the learners to become acceptable members of society.
The VIP and Compliance Team nominated this school as one that required support and assistance. The Team from HUTS paid a visit to the school on 9 February 2022 to hand over reams of paper. Arlene Debora Bowes, a representative from St Theresa’s Home, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for their contribution, and added that this campaign is a positive and practical initiative that will make a difference to the children and to society at large.
