The Hollywood Foundation was proud to partner with Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassador Mike Procter for the Back to School campaign this year. The Team from Hollywoodbets Umhlanga Team Support (HUTS) and Mike were happy to extend a helping hand to Ottawa Primary School, which is based in Phoenix. The school was excited to receive the assistance, and the friendly visit from the Team.
Previously, the school struggled with needy students, who came from primarily unemployed households. These parents found it very difficult to buy school supplies for their children at the start of the new academic year. Through the campaign, the school was able to receive school shoes, uniforms and some stationery supplies for their learners this year. Apart from educational lessons, the school also offers children nutritional programmes and social development activities.
TD Mathe, a representative for Ottawa Primary, thanked the Team for their support, and urged them to continue with their good efforts in assisting the school.
