Kasi Queens FC is comprised of hardworking and skilled footballers. The team is made up of 40 players, who form part of the first team and the under-15 team. Players engage in active practice sessions, five days a week. The club was formed in 2015 to prevent the players from crime-related activities within the region. One of the club’s proudest moment was receiving the news that players will be receiving brand-new soccer kits from the Hollywood Foundation.
The Team from Somerset West paid a visit to the club on 17 January 2022 to hand over the new kits. The Hollywood Foundation is actively involved in making a difference in the lives of various players in developing sport teams in South Africa. The Team was thrilled to yet again, touch more lives and make a meaningful difference to this club. Bash Moikelo, a representative for Kasi Queens FC, said that the soccer kits will go a long way, as the club rarely receives assistance from sponsors.
