The school felt humbled and excited to learn the news that they will be receiving support at the start of the new schooling year. The school seeks to empower and uplift learners who come from informal settlements in the region. Apart from educational activities, the school also provides the learners with nutritional programmes and extra-curricular activities. The Team from HUTS paid a special visit to the school on 26 January 2022 to contribute much-needed reams of paper and flip files for learners to use in the classroom.
Shanell, a representative for Rippon Primary School, said that this contribution will make a big difference in the lives of the children. She added, “We hope that our children will make a positive contribution in society as good citizens.”
