Teachers and pupils at Luzini SPS received an early Christmas gift after learning that they will receive assistance from the Hollywood Foundation through the Back to School campaign. Previously, learners at the school had no school uniforms and shoes. The school also offers learners an opportunity to engage in sporting activities and music classes.
On 29 November 2021, the Team from Mthatha paid a visit to the school to hand over school uniforms, school shoes and stationery supplies. Parents of the learners face many hardships and are likely to go into the festive season with less pressure for the next schooling year.
S.M Ngewu, the Principal for Luzini SPS, said that the contribution will help learners to feel more confident, motivated and neat when coming to school on a daily basis.
