Based in Musgrave, Durban, Indoni Fashion House was excited to hear the good news that their business will be receiving assistance from the Hollywood Foundation. This formed part of the R250 000 pledge that the Foundation made towards the Durban Fashion Fair’s Rising Stars.
The fashion business makes designer clothes for an array of customers. Kwenzi Nkomo, a representative of the business, opened up about the many struggles that they have faced, such as a lack of fabric to keep up with orders. The Team from the Hollywood Foundation visited the business on 21 July 2022, to hand over their share of equipment, including sewing machines and fabric. Kwenzi said that the contribution will make a meaningful impact on the business, as it will help to ensure that customers receive the best quality of clothes.
