
The Hollywood Foundation is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 Future is Bright Bursary Programme.
Through the Hollywood Foundation’s My Education Pillar, the Future is Bright Bursary Programme strives to empower students nationwide, bridging the transition from high school to tertiary education.
Through our holistic support programmes, we focus on equipping students with the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for a seamless entry into the workforce.
Please note:
The bursary programme offers full or partial funding for studies in the following fields, depending on academic performance and the area of study.
- Finance & Accounting
- Digital Marketing / Marketing & Communication
- Information Technology & Computing
- Data Science
To qualify, the following criteria must be met:
- Grade 12 learners: Must have a minimum average of 65%
- Current tertiary students: Must have a minimum average of 60% in your most recent results
- Must be a South African citizen
- Proof of University application/ acceptance letter
- Additionally, submit a motivation letter outlining why you deserve the bursary and how your chosen qualification aligns with your career goals and personal aspirations.
- Duration of qualification must be 12 months and longer
- You must apply to or be studying at a South African tertiary institution that is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
- Incomplete applications or applications with incorrect information will be disqualified
Please note that selected applicants will be required to go through the full selection process which includes assessments and interviews.
The bursary applications are open from 16 July to 16 September 2025.
