FACEBOOK COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Valid between 16 September – 31 October 2022

Followers stand a chance to WIN R10 000 worth of sustainable goods towards their chosen non-profit organisation in our Hollywood Foundation Facebook competition. The winner will be announced on 3 November 2022 (Wednesday).

Simply like the Hollywood Foundation Facebook page, nominate any registered non-profit organisation of your choice on the Facebook post and they can stand a chance to WIN!

1. The competition runs between 16 September – 31 October 2022.
2. The competition closes 31 October 2022 at 10 am.
3. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition.
4. A person can enter by liking the Hollywood Foundation Facebook page and commenting on the original competition post on Facebook that can be found on the Hollywood Foundation page, nominating their specified non-profit organisation.
5. A participant can nominate their own registered non-profit organisation or a registered non-profit organisation of their choice. The chosen organisation will receive goods to the value of R10 000 from the Hollywood Foundation.
6. To qualify to be selected, the organisation must be a registered non-profit organisation with a certificate and be able to issue a BBBEEE affidavit/SED certificate.
7. This competition is available to any registered non-profit organisation.
8. The winning organisation will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.
9. One entry per person. Entries are limited, their first comment will be taken as an entry anything thereafter will be null and void.
10. The Draw to select the winner will be done by one of the Hollywood Foundation Team Support Office team members and will be supervised by an internal auditor.
11. The prize will be signed over to the winning registered Non-Profit organisation on the 31 October 2022.
12. The winning organisation will be notified via Facebook inbox.
13. By entering the competition, you agree:
14. that Hollywood Foundation may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
15. to receiving communication from Hollywood Foundations’ sponsors and partners,
16. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
17. Hollywood Foundation and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents.
18. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
19. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywood Foundation or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywood Foundation or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
20. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywood Foundation (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
21. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.

23. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
24. Entrants, by virtue of participation, understand that information provided is collected by Hollywood Foundation, in terms of its Customer Privacy notice that can be found at https://www.hollywoodbets.net/StoredPage.aspx?page=Privacy and not by Facebook.
