On 22 April 2025, the Hollywood Foundation continued its commitment to building stronger communities through its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative, by supporting Siyaphambili Creche in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal. As part of this impactful CSI programme, the Foundation contributed much-needed indoor and outdoor paint, stationery, educational toys, storage bags, and classroom furniture to the Creche, which serves children from rural and underprivileged areas.
Established in 2023, Siyaphambili Creche is a safe haven for early childhood development, providing care, education, and meals to young learners. In addition to offering daily learning, the Creche also runs a soup kitchen to ensure that every child receives a nutritious meal. This CSI-driven support from the Hollywood Foundation will help create a brighter, more vibrant learning environment and give the children the tools they need to thrive academically and socially.
The contribution forms part of the Foundation’s broader CSI strategy to uplift grassroots organisations that are making a difference in South Africa. By contributing vital resources, the Hollywood Foundation is helping Siyaphambili Creche to strengthen its educational impact, while also easing the burden on staff and caregivers. The learning materials and classroom essentials will significantly improve daily operations, and the quality of education provided.
“Siyaphambili Creche is incredibly grateful for the Hollywood Foundation’s CSI support,” said Sibekelelo Khanyile, a representative from the Creche. “Without resources, it becomes very difficult for our learners to engage and for our teachers to do their work effectively. This contribution gives us hope—and we also dream of helping parents and families in our community access the support they need.”
Through partnerships like this, the Hollywood Foundation demonstrates the true power of CSI—empowering future generations, supporting community development, and creating sustainable change across South Africa.
