- 20 (twenty) organisations will be selected by a judging panel consisting of business people, donors and NPO leaders.
- The selection process will be mainly based on the answers submitted and other factors as determined by the judging panel.
- A drop-in site visit might be conducted to ensure the suitability of the selected organisation.
- Organisations from different locations will be selected.
- The judging panel will select the finalists.
- The judging panel’s decision will be final and binding, no further discussions or correspondence will be entertained.
- The event organisers reserve the right to change judging deadlines should circumstances necessitate.
- This is a rare opportunity for the selected NPO’s to be allowed to exhibit at Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
- The prize include:
- 1x foldable trestle table
- 1x Organisation-specific branded stretch table cloth
- 1x Organisation-specific branded Banner wall
- 2x Organisation-specific branded pull up banners
- 500/1000x Organisation-specific generic business cards
- 25x Organisation-specific branded golf shirts (5 in each size – embroidered logo)
- 1x Training day for 2 people on how to market your organisation well, including lunch – valued at R1500,00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rands) per person.
- 1x 30 seconds promotional video about your organisation which will be played at Gateway for marketing purposes and be placed on all the sponsors socials.
- We do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the prize, and in particular, but without limitation, make no representations and give no warranty that your entry or participation will necessarily result in you winning the prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet your expectations.
- Hollywood Foundation and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prize which has not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents.
- Not exchangeable – no NPO can replace you should you not be able to exhibit. If you cannot exhibit for any reason after you have accepted the position, you will refund Hollywood Foundation for the cost incurred valued at R12 980.
- The prize is not redeemable for cash.
- The closing date for entries is 2 March 2023 at 17:00 pm, no late entries will be considered.
- You will be notified only if successful via the email address provided on or before 3 March 2023.
- Should you not respond before close of business on 6 March 2023 your slot will be filled by the next suitable candidate.
- We may require you to provide us with additional information and documentation as we may reasonably require in order to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance of the prize. If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will be disqualified.
- All information received from entrants will be strictly confidential.
- You agree and consent to your personal information being processed by Hollywood Foundation and We Are Durban Social Upliftment NPC, which will be done in accordance with the data protection laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- You will be required to attend an in-person training session in Morningside on Friday 10 March 2023 for the full day. This must be attended by one or two of the people who will be exhibiting on 24 – 26 March 2023. A Maximum of 2 people per organisation can attend the training.
- These terms and conditions will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of contract and dispute resolution in the Republic of South Africa.
- This Entry is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or associate and immediate family members (adopted and natural) of all the above.
