The Hollywood Foundation was proud to transform the overall functioning of YSH Projects (Pty) Ltd, a SMME that is based in the Eastern Cape. The business was nominated by Ntenga Foundation to receive assistance, and the Team was happy to make a much-needed contribution on 31 March 2022.
The organisation deals with poultry, and it is comprised of workers who breed chickens and sell them to customers or other businesses after six weeks. The business has opened up about the many challenges that it faces, such as a lack of equipment. The Team visited the business to contribute many equipment items, including a stainless steel scalder, a mini drum plucker, a logo design and a pressure cleaner. Yonela Hintsa, the Owner of YSH Projects (Pty) Ltd, said that the equipment will now help to improve production, as well as ensuring increased income and sales. Yonela added that the goals for the business are to expand, create more employment opportunities and more income.
