Hollywoodbets Ladysmith chose to support Snomusa Crèche as part of the Hollywoodbets’ My Community Programme for 2020/21.

Snomusa first opened their doors in August 2012. They provide basic education to children and offer stimulation programmes that aim to provide life skills and educational support to developing children.
The Hollywoodbets Ladysmith Team came to know about this crèche because it is located in one of the rural communities near the branch. The Team wanted to encourage Snomusa to keep up the great work that they’ve been doing by supporting them with a donation. The Team felt this was particularly important as this crèche has only had one sponsor in the past. The Team delivered chairs for the children, a table, a pot, a carpet, a broom, a mop, an educational wallchart, workbooks, and a learning pad as well as a laptop.
Founder and Principal of the crèche, Ncamisile Langa, was excited to receive the new goods for the organisation.

“Snomusa was running low on learning resources for our educational programmes, but now we have new materials that will be put to great use in our classes. The tables and chairs will provide a place for our children to sit and complete their activities and eat their lunch. We are grateful to Hollywoodbets for their support!” she said.
