This organisation opened their doors to vulnerable community members in 2013. Their main aims include skills development and creating and running nutritional programmes. They teach their beneficiaries sewing skills so that they can be independent and make a career for themselves. They provide daily meals to 165 people which includes the disabled, the elderly and the youth.
The Hollywoodbets Korsten Team learned of this organisation through an official that works for Social Development. The Team was pleased to hear of the good work that they do for their community members in need and chose to donate an industrial sewing machine, a filing cabinet, a steel table, eight chairs and sewing materials.
Ziphilele Nonimba, Chairperson of Siyaphambili, was thankful to Hollywoodbets for their generosity.
“This helpful donation will assist with the overall running and functioning of our organisation. It will allow us to help more people in our community so that we can continue to make a difference,” she said.
