Hollywoodbets chose to support the Kingsmead Mynahs as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

This club’s main focus is to help cricket players at all levels throughout KwaZulu-Natal. Over the years various overseas coaches were brought in to support the Mynahs. The club also facilitates a junior structure, the Ottawa Development Project, coached by Rodney Malamba and Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassador Mike Procter. Their teams practise twice a week at various schools, fields and at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium.
Hollywoodbets chose to support the Kingsmead Mynahs as they have a great passion for cricket and they give young and up and coming cricketers the chance to prove themselves and show off their talents at a highly competitive level. A donation of new playing kits, caps and tracksuits were given to the players. A contribution was also put forward to contribute to accommodation, transport and coaches.
Member of the club, Colin Chater, believes that the support being offered by Hollywoodbets is going to help players in the club to grow.
“This generous donation made by Hollywoodbets will help to improve the Under 11 Festival and the Under 17 schedule. The improvement of our playing kits will give us confidence when playing and together with the donation towards accommodation, we will be able to tour the Country Districts area,” he said.
