Ikageng Day Centre is based in Mashishing, Mpumalanga, and the non-profit organisation has been making a meaningful difference in the lives of children since 2002. As part of the Hollywood Foundation’s CSI contribution, the Day Centre was overjoyed to learn that their children will be receiving assistance this year.
Ikageng Day Centre was established to support many children in the region and give parents peace of mind, by knowing that their children are safe during working hours. The Purple Team takes an active interest in the lives of children with various CSI projects, and prioritises their wellbeing and education. On 22 September 2022, the Team from Mashishing visited the Day Centre to contribute an array of items, such as cooking pots, gas stoves, cups and bowls.
Anna Leshaba, the Principal of Ikageng Day Centre, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for their generosity, and added that the items will allow them to ensure that the children are provided with warm cooked meals and their own utensils.
