Proudly South African betting operator, Hollywoodbets, has always had the needs of the community at heart. The company’s Corporate Social Investment policy was established in 2012 and has grown tremendously over the last decade. With the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme positively impacting thousands of lives through various projects, the company has taken the next step to elevate these initiatives.

Hollywoodbets is proud to announce the launch of the Hollywood Foundation, which aims to bring hope to local communities through collaborative efforts that make a sustainable impact.

As a fully-fledged non-profit organisation that plays an active role in the communities within which it operates, the Foundation aims to operate programmes that will lend a helping hand to South African communities. With its very own passionate team, the organisation aims to find ways to make a difference in many lives with projects focussing on welfare, education, sports, arts and culture, as well as investing in SMMEs.

To kick-off, the Hollywood Foundation has pledged to inject a massive R9 million across various projects around South Africa. These include the continuation of the annual Hollywoodbets Back to School campaign, The Future is Bright bursary initiative and social welfare projects.

“Over the years, Hollywoodbets has witnessed, first hand, the challenges faced by South African communities. We have also seen the positive results that arise from investing in meaningful initiatives, and how powerful giving hope can be. We are proud to launch the Hollywood Foundation as this next step will take our development projects even further. The Foundation will work together with our communities, organisations and ultimately people who need support to ensure a brighter future,”
