Hollywoodbets Quigney chose to support Carel du Toit Centre as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

Carel du Toit Centre is a school that aims to teach children who are hearing impaired to speak, thus helping them to communicate with a language other than sign language.
The centre exposes the children to day-long listening through the use of appropriate hearing technologies helping them to be able to function in a hearing world.
The Hollywoodbets Quigney Team visited the centre to donate educational, role play, outdoor play and environmental play toys, puzzles, paints, paint brushes, educational charts, gardening items, aprons and ten storage containers as well as giant board games.
Lara Roux the administrator thanked the Team for their donation.
“This investment into our school will help us in so many ways. Teaching a hearing-impaired child to speak is challenging and requires patience and repetition. The items that Hollywoodbets have blessed us with will enable us to teach our kids in a fun entertaining way,” she said.
