The Hollywood Foundation was proud to embark on a special project, in an attempt to bring about change in the community of Khayelitsha. Many individuals engage in sporting activities for an array of reasons, such as keeping active or relaxing. Brotherhood of Elite SA is a non-profit organisation that promotes boxing to the community, and they were so happy to receive CSI assistance from the Hollywood Foundation that will have a profound impact on many families in this day and age.

Brotherhood of Elite SA was established in 2010, and it uses boxing to addresses social ills in the community, including Gender-Based Violence. The organisation has many goals to achieve in the future, including developing progressive disciplined youth and women who are able to defend themselves from a very young age. Staff at the organisation explained that classes were conducted at other gyms, due to a lack of space. The Purple Team in the Western Cape saw a need to lend a helping hand and chose to contribute a branded-container and boxing equipment, as part of a CSI initiative.

Nika Kumalo, the Project Director for Brotherhood of Elite SA, said that this contribution will have a meaningful impact on many people, and it will also allow the organisation to conduct many projects.
