Action International, Real Aces And Masibambane Crowned Hollywood Foundation Amazulu Siyakhula Cup 2026 Titles
Action International Academy retained their Hollywood Foundation AmaZulu Siyakhula U15 Cup boys’ title after edging hosts AmaZulu FC 2-1 in an exciting final at College Rovers Rugby Fields on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
The final was a repeat of last year’s showdown, with Action International once again coming out on top to defend their crown in the boys’ category.
In the ladies’ category, Real Aces delivered a commanding performance, defeating eThekwini Ladies 3-0 to lift the trophy, while Masibambane High School secured the schools’ category title with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over JG Zuma High School.
The sixth edition of the tournament brought together boys’ football, women’s football, and schools’ football for two days of exciting action, displaying the talent and potential of young footballers from across the province.
Hollywood Foundation Senior Sponsorship Coordinator Menzi Ngcobo expressed his delight at the successful conclusion of the tournament, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing grassroots football.
“As Hollywood Foundation, it warms our hearts to see a collaborative effort come to fruition. Now in its sixth year, the excitement around the Hollywood Foundation AmaZulu Siyakhula Cup continues to grow, and the 2026 edition certainly did not disappoint,” said Ngcobo.
“The support from parents, players, the public, and our partners highlight the Siyakhula Cup’s importance in the football calendar. I am pleased with the success of this year’s edition,” he added.
Ngcobo encouraged AmaZulu FC and neighbouring clubs to nurture the talent identified at the tournament by providing opportunities for further development.
The importance of creating pathways for young players was also highlighted by AmaZulu FC first-team head coach Arthur Zwane, who witnessed the talent on display.
“Congratulations to Action International on retaining their title. We were not good enough on the day; we woke up a little bit late. But, in saying that, I do not think it takes away from the overall success of the tournament.
“For the sixth year of hosting the tournament, I think it has been another amazing two days of football, and it is exactly what the AmaZulu Community Trust stands for: women’s football, schools’ football, and boys’ football.
“We achieved everything here today. There was talent on show, great football, and great entertainment. It was an all-round fantastic weekend,” said Thompson.

Now in its sixth edition, the tournament continues to grow from strength to strength, thanks in part to the support and commitment of SAFA eThekwini President Mazwi Mkhize and Secretary General Zama Buthelezi. Their contribution has been instrumental in sustaining this platform for the development and promotion of young football talent.
