The Hollywood Foundation’s CSI efforts continue to inspire South African communities every day, ensuring that those in need receive assistance and support. One of our beneficiaries Legacy Ladies FC, was Founded in 2023, nestled in the heart of Bluff, KZN. The club has quickly become a beacon of hope for young women in the community. With a Team brimming with 18 talented players, the club’s mission goes beyond victories on the sand; it aims to nurture and empower the youth, especially young ladies, through the dynamic sport of Pro Beach Soccer (PBSSA).
Coach Mo, the visionary Director of Legacy Ladies, expressed profound enthusiasm about the club’s rapid ascent: “Legacy Ladies is more than just a Team; it’s a movement for positive change in our community. We are dedicated to cultivating skilled, confident athletes, and empowered young women who will inspire future generations.”
On the 27th May 2024, excitement buzzed through the air at Legacy Ladies as the Team welcomed esteemed guests from the Bluff branch Team and the Hollywood Foundation. This visit marked a pivotal moment for the club, as the generous contribution of a complete soccer kit and essential equipment promised to elevate their training sessions and operational capabilities to new heights.
“The support from CSI partners like the Hollywood Foundation is invaluable,” Coach Mo remarked gratefully. “The message it sends to our players is that their hard work and dedication is recognised and supported by the broader community.”
The arrival of the new gear infused renewed energy into the Team, who wasted no time in putting it to use during their rigorous training sessions. With each pass, each goal, Legacy Ladies embodied the spirit of resilience and determination that defines their journey towards excellence in PBSSA.
