The Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign has been making a positive impact on many schools throughout the country. Vukuzithathe Primary School was one of many schools that was fortunate enough to receive assistance this year.
The school was established in 1990 and it is comprised of many teachers, who go out of their way to ensure that learners receive a quality education. The school has opened up about the many challenges that it faces on a constant basis, such as educating learners who come from poor backgrounds. On 14 January 2022, the Team from Secunda paid a visit to the school to hand over various pieces of school wear items for learners to use when attending lessons this year. Matseliso Mnembe, the Principal of Vukuzithathe Primary School, said that the items will go a long way in assisting vulnerable and underprivileged children at the school.
